Proof that its never too late to tell your story, especialy when writing becomes a form of salvation.
This sounds fascinating. I'm very much an introvert, and I still found the isolation really difficult. I was living in Japan at the time, and they took much longer to come out of lockdown. I can't imagine how painful that time must've been for extroverts.
The pandemic was a game changer for me as well. It made me acutely aware of my age, and even more so my husband's age, as he's 17 years older than I am. All of a sudden my age meant that I was vulnerable in a way I hadn't considered before. Life has pretty much returned to normal though nowadays I enjoy the freedom to wear a mask if I'm going into risky situations.
